During the proseminar course of Her Office, questions regarding the spatial and design shifts along with the hierarchical and organizational turns of the office space were discussed by the students through the analysis of a series of readings and documentaries.
The Power of Words is a documentary that takes place in the digital world. With the office environment reduced to a screen, this desktop essay exposes the contemporary gender bias in the workplace. The documentary shows the process of the main character to exceed these biases and invites the viewer to reflect on the actions and the working routine in order to accomplish a task of achievement.
